The Buddha Project is a decade-long photographic journey across Asia in search of some of the world’s most unique and compelling Buddha statues and sacred places. More than a search for extraordinary places, it became a search for stillness. Over time, I became less interested in documenting what I saw and more interested in photographing what I felt. These photographs explore stillness, light, silence, and the timeless feeling that drew me there.
